20 Months

Emma turned 20 months on July 24th. We were visiting my family in Pennsylvania so I'm just now getting to her monthly stats. Emma, you have an amazing personality! You make me smile and laugh all day long. Of course, you test my patience almost every day too but my frustrations are always shortlived. I love you baby girl!

• You are around 32 inches and 22 lbs.
• You are still in 18 month clothing and size 4 diapers.
• Right now, you are loving your little people doll house, blocks, cars, coloring with crayons and chalk, stickers, and doing anything outside. :-)
• Your vocabulary is soaring! You are saying more words and phrases every day. You are quite a chatterbox and I love it! You're also very opinionated for such a young girl!
• I'm so proud that you have good manners! Please and thank you are a few of your favorite words to say. :-)
• You've discovered a new love for blueberries. You ate too many while visiting PA and got a nasty diaper rash so you'll only be getting them in small amounts from now on.
• You have 15 teeth!! You cut your bottom left canine around July 20th and I just discovered your bottom 2 year molars are in as well! I know your teeth have really been bothering you lately but I didn't even think to check your molars. Your other canines are super close to cutting too! Only 5 more teeth to go!! I am not sad to see the "teething phase" leave this house!
• You are my little helper. :-) You love to help with laundry, dusting, washing windows, and cleaning toilets.
• You still hate having your teeth brushed.
• I'm going to attempt potty training again. You're back to telling me when you have to go so we'll see how you do! I know you are young so there's no rush!
