At 15 months, you are 21 lbs and about 30.5 inches. You look so small to be walking all over! You are very active and seem to have a hard time putting weight on. You eat often throughout the day but you are very picky about the types of food you'll eat. You don't seem to like foods with an odd texture. You won't eat most vegetables and now are refusing anything unfamiliar without even tasting it. It's very frustrating. :-(
You were really sick back in the beginning of January. It was horrible. You and your daddy caught the same stomach virus at the exact time. Daddy got sick and less than 5 minutes later, you threw up all over your crib. That first night was really hard on you. You threw up 1-2 times every hour from 9 pm 2 am. It was the scariest time I've experienced since giving birth to you. It was so hard to see you like that and there was nothing I could do except to hold and cuddle you as much as possible. Thankfully, you were feeling better in a few days. Fingers crossed, you don't experience anything like that anytime soon!
A few days after your illness, we discovered two first-year molars cutting! You cut all four molars within a couple of weeks. January was a rough month for you!
You started walking on January 23rd -- one day before turning 14 months old! It was magical. :-) I'm SO proud of you!!
I love when you spontaneously bring a book to me and sit in my lap when you want me to read to you. I LOVE that you love to read! :-)
You are one smart cookie! You can put 8-10 piece puzzles together! You are really good at sorting shapes by color. You can say tons of words and have awesome receptive language. :-)
I think you're hilarious! You make me laugh all day long.
You love to carry your stuffed puppy all over the house. You sleep with him and have to take him with you when you wake up in the morning. It's incredibly adorable!
You are wearing 18 month clothing but you have shorter legs and a tiny waist so pants and shorts don't fit that well. Hopefully you'll grow into them soon!
You think everything is a hat and it cracks me up! You love to put the shape-sorter top on your head as well as any box you find.
| You LOVE jewelry! "Pretty!" as you would say. |
