7 Months!

I'm a couple of weeks late but...Emma is a whopping 7 months old! I really cannot believe how the past month has flown by. Months 4-6 seems to have just disappeared before my eyes and Emma continues to grow and change each and every day.

• I think you are close to 18 lbs and 27 inches long.
• You are wearing 6-9 month or 6-12 month depending on the brand. You're really growing right now!
• You still have the most beautiful blue eyes and blond hair. Your hair is finally filling in your bald spot in back! It's also getting longer in front and around your ears.
• You are in size 3 Huggies diapers.
• You are a pro at eating solids! You have tried many new foods this month: peas, squash, apples, bananas, prunes, carrots, and mango. You seem to like everything I've given you, though I think you're starting to catch on to the nasty taste of jarred peas. I originally wanted to make my own baby food but with the cost of produce right now, we're sticking with jarred baby food.
• You are sitting up pretty perfectly! When you fall back or to the side, you take it in stride and try to pull yourself back up.
• You still love your jumperoo!
• You are babbling up a storm! I think you're going to be quite the chatterbox!
• We're still waiting for a tooth to pop through!
• You love bath time and the pool. Splashing in the water is so much fun!
• You made your third long road trip (your second to PA)! We spent just over a week in Pennsylvania and you were incredibly well behaved! :-)
• You're a little giggle monster and I love it.
• You finally opened your hands up to clap but only put your hands on mine when I'm clapping. You haven't done it yourself just yet.
• You love dogs!
• Your favorite song is still "Old MacDonald" but you're starting to like "The Itsy Bitsy Spider!" You really seem to love it when I sing to you. :-)
