My name is Erin.
This is my husband, Ryan.
Ryan proposed on May 23, 2008 at my school, where I taught first grade. We were married on November 22, 2008 on a snowy day in Cochranville, Pennsylvania .
We found out we were expecting a little baby on March 17, 2010. We later found out we were having a girl!

Emma Grace was born on November 24, 2010 (2 days after our 2nd wedding anniversary!). She was 8 lbs, 8 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She is the light of our lives!
That's my short introduction! Now, for a recent photo of me. I haven't had a picture of myself taken since before Emma was born, so a recent one of myself and the little babe will have to do!
15 Interesting Facts:
1. I taught first grade for 3 years but left to stay at home with my daughter. I loved teaching and I still miss my "kids" every day, but am so happy to be home to watch my little girl grow!
2. My husband teases me all the time for not saying "orange" and "crayon" correctly. I pronouce them "ar"ange and "crown."
3. I have a dimple on the side of my forehead whenever I smile and I hate it.
4. I have extremely narrow feet and always have a hard time finding shoes that fit correctly! I always wanted to have stylish shoes but am still looking for the perfect pair(s)!
5. I was in a 4-H club for 10 years. My mom was the leader for 8 of those years. I sewed a different outfit each year and modeled them in fashion shows. I won ribbons almost every year and even competed in the regional competition several times. Once I turned 18, I stopped sewing and haven't sewn since, other than little repairs here and there!
6. I had a butchered pixie haircut in second grade and my family still makes fun of my school picture! It was the favorite embarrassing photo to show all of my old boyfriends!
7. I used to be a very picky eater! I didn't try onions or tomatoes until I met my husband, and now I cook with them fairly often.
8. I started taking voice lessons when I was 13 years old. I took lessons from a few different teachers over 11 years. I sang often in church and on stage in high school and college. I even made it to district chorus in high school.
9. During my senior year of high school, I tried out for and won the lead role in our school musical, "The Music Man." I played the role of Marian. It is my most memorable moment from high school!
10. I was only allowed to learn to drive stick shift when I was 16. My family only drove Subarus!
11. I traveled to China and Tibet in 2006 with a small group from my college. It was the trip of a lifetime and changed me for the better!
12. I traveled to Europe with American Music Abroad in 1999 when I was 16 years old. I played trombone in their symphonic and jazz band. We performed concerts in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, and Switzerland.
13. I started playing piano when I was 8 years old. My dream is to have a baby grand someday but I need a bigger house!
14. My dad was in the Navy Seabees and spent one year in Antarctica before he met my mom. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of penguins now!
15. I have only ever broken one bone and it was a stress fracture in my right foot. I still don't know how it happened but I discovered it less than two months before my wedding day. I walked down the aisle in sneakers because I was still supposed to be wearing a boot on my foot!
