21 Months

Emma, at 21 months, you are a little firecracker. :-) You are an ornery little girl and enjoy keeping me on my toes every minute of the day! I adore your personality. Your smile and laugh can light up a room immediately. I cannot believe you'll be 2 in just three months!

• You are 22.6 lbs and 32 inches tall.
• You're wearing 18 month clothing. I'm excited to buy you some new Fall clothes with all the sales going on but I'm not sure what size to get!
• You are still in size 4 diapers. You go on your little potty when you want to. :-)
• You cut your bottom right canine and top left canine in the last month. I think your last canine and top 2 year molars are currently cutting but I can't quite get in there to see. You're almost done with teething!! Yay!!!
• Since cutting all of the most recent teeth, you finally decided that brushing your teeth isn't the most awful, tortureous thing in the world. Thank the Lord.
• You're still a proud member of the picky-eater club. You can leave any time. ;-)
• You love playing with your baby dolls, reading books, and building towers with any type of block. Being outside, no matter what you're doing, is your favorite thing. :-)
• You can identify all upper case letters and most lower case. You can identify all basic colors and shapes (circle, square, triangle, oval, rectangle, star, heart). You can count to 13 but cannot identify the numbers yet. We're working on it!
• You are continuing to put short phrases together on a daily basis. I love that you're learning to communicate more!
• You're starting to become interested in Disney movies and characters. You sat through some of The Lion King and Aladdin on tv recently and enjoyed them. You are also really loving Mickey and Minnie right now.
• You started Gymboree classses a couple of weeks ago. You're really enjoying meeting and playing with new friends. :-)
