Day 23 -- Favorite Vacation

Hmm....favorite vacation....I'm really not sure. China and Tibet were great but not really a vacation. Europe was AMAZING but again, not really a vacation either since I was playing concerts all over the place. I've traveled to many places but honestly, haven't been on many vacations. I've never been to an island or Mexico or even on a cruise. We hardly ever get to go anywhere for just "us" because we're always visiting family out of state. I love my family but sometimes I wish we didn't live so far away because every holiday or time off Ryan gets is spent traveling to either Pennsylvania or Ohio.

My "mini-moon" was spent in Niagara Falls. We decided to take a longer honeymoon in the future when we have more money to spend! We were only able to stay a few days (very COLD, snowy days) on the Canadian side and then went back to my parents house for Thanksgiving. It was fun but it wasn't perfect weather and most of the tourist attractions were closed because of the time of year.

So, I guess I'd have to say my favorite vacation was San Francisco. It was wonderful to be away with the hubs for a week, just enjoying each other! We planned the vacation for early April when I was on Spring break from work. A few weeks before we were scheduled to leave, I found out I was pregnant. :-) When we went to San Fran I was 6 weeks pregnant and really tired all the time! We spent the week exploring the city and the bay area. It was beautiful with mostly perfect weather! We had to go back to the hotel a couple of times during the day so I could nap but other than that, it was pretty perfect. :-)
