Emma Grace is 4 Months!

Emma is 4 months old today!! Wow, where have the last four months gone?! She's growing more and more adorable by the day and our love for her grows every second! Here are some facts about Emma's fourth month:

• You are 15 lbs and 24 inches long! You're in the 75th-90th percentile for weight and the 25th-50th for height. I think you're about 24 1/2 in...they never stretch you out at the dr.
• You have your first cold! :-(  I guess with your hands constantly in your mouth, it was bound to happen sooner or later. You've got a little cough and stuffy nose. You've also been extra sleepy the past few days.
• You LOVE your hands! We always find fingers in your mouth and you attempt to get your entire fist in there on a daily basis. :-)
• You're still in size 2 diapers -- Huggies and Luvs.
• You are wearing 3-6 month clothing.
• You can laugh! You don't do it often but it's SO adorable when you do!
• You still take your paci when you're tired but you don't like it as much during the day.
• You almost never sleep when we're out at a store anymore! You love to look around! You're quite the little observer!
• You're holding your head up very well! Mommy helps you practice sitting up during the day.
• You're too heavy for your bassinet and the top part of your pack and play -- 15 lbs is the limit!
• You still love bath time and enjoy getting Mommy and Daddy wet while you splash away.
• You haven't been sleeping as well since you turned 3 months old. I think you hit the "4 month wakeful period" a little early! You went from sleeping 9-5:30 before eating to waking any time from 2 am to 4 am for a meal. You even woke up twice a night for a few weeks...not fun for Mommy! :-(
• You don't like to take naps in your crib during the day. I don't know if it's too light for you or if it's the construction trucks that noisily drive by constantly that keep you up. You usually sleep for 30 minutes before waking.
• Your maximum awake time is about 3 hours before you get fussy and ready for a nap.
• I ordered you a few headbands off Etsy and they came today! I had to try them out for your photo shoot and I think I may officially be addicted to accessorizing you! ;-)
• You are the most adorable baby on the planet. :-)
