I have had a few long relationships in my life but can honestly say that I did not experience true love until I met my husband, Ryan. Ryan and I met online in September 2007, were engaged by May 2008, and married in November 2008. What a whirlwind! Ryan is an incredible human being. He is one of the most compassionate and kind individuals that I know. I am so blessed and thankful to have him in my life. He has treated me like a princess since the day we met! He goes above and beyond in so many ways in order to make me happy. How lucky can a girl get?! We've been married now for over 2 years and have welcomed a beautiful little girl into our lives. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with this man and I look forward to watching our relationship grow stronger each day.
Funny story:
I received a gorgeous vase from a friend of my family when I graduated high school back in 2001. The card said that the first man to put flowers in that specific vase would be the man I marry! It sounded like crazy talk back then! I'd gotten flowers from boys in the past and figured I would get more as the years went on, and not necessarily from the man I would marry. Well, that vase stayed in the box for 6 years because I was afraid I'd ruin it! Despite receiving flowers from boyfriends along the way, for some reason, I never thought of using the vase. The vase stayed in that box and traveled with me as I moved to North Carolina. After meeting Ryan, he brought me flowers soon after our first date and I magically remembered this vase that I had put away in a cabinet (and I happened to take a picture of it which I never did in the past!). The rest is history!
